US-Iran Conflict Escalates as Both Sides Exchange Fresh Strikes Across the Gulf

Iran After facing six straight nights of US airstrikes on its military sites, Iran said it had launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks on American military facilities across the Gulf. The conflict is now entering a more dangerous phase, with both sides carrying out daily attacks against each other.

The United States’’ has launched new airstrikes on Iran.US military targeted bridges, airports and logistics infrastructure in southern Iran.Some energy and transport facilities were also reportedly affected.


The US strike on the morning of July 17 targeted the following locations:

Iran City Airport  (Sistan and Baluchestan Province) – Bombs were dropped on the airport and the power supply was disrupted.

Bandar Abbas   (Hormozgan Province) – The railway station and transport/logistics infrastructure were targeted. Bandar Abbas is Iran’s largest port city.

Bandar Khamir   (Hormozgan Province) – Two bridges were attacked here.      According to Iranian media, several people were killed in the attack.

Hormozgan Province – Iranian media say that five bridges in the province were targeted.

Chabahar Port (Sistan and Baluchestan Province) – The port’s surveillance/control tower was also hit.

Qeshm Island – According to US Central Command, these maritime and logistics facilities were targeted.

The air force launched a new wave of airstrikes in southern Iran.

The focus of the attacks was on transport and logistics infrastructure

The Iran strike of July 17 targeted the following location:

Kuwait: Iran targeted Doha West Power and Desalination Plant. It is one of Kuwait’s largest electricity and water generating facilities. The strike sparked a fire and temporarily disrupted electricity production at the facility. 

Qatar:Iran’s target was Qatar’s Al-Udeid air base, which hosts a large number of US troops. Explosions were heard in Doha, while Qatar said its defense systems intercepted several missiles.

Bahrain:Iran said it had launched strikes targeting American military bases and facilities in the region. Officials have not officially named the exact base, but reports suggest it is a US military installation.

Oman: Iran claims to have targeted a radar station. Omani officials have not yet publicly confirmed the exact name of the radar station.

Iran Issues Fresh Warning to the United States:


“If the US continues to attack inside Iran, Iran will further expand its retaliatory attacks and will also target new intelligence.”

According to statements from the Iranian military and IRGC:

The US attacks must stop, Iran will respond with more.

Iran said that US military bases and their facilities that are supporting US military operations could also be targeted.

Iran also said that if the attacks continue, war could break out without warning.

Trump Responds After Iran Launches Fresh Gulf Attacks:

Donald Trump said that the United States will continue military pressure on Iran and that if Iran does not stop the attacks, the United States may take further action. He also said that the United States will protect its troops and military bases in the Gulf. At the same time, Trump did not close the door to diplomacy.

Donald Trump said after today’s development that the United States will continue its military campaign and increase pressure on Iran. He said that the United States will not stop before achieving its strategic objectives. In some reports, Trump also said that the United States is a “big win” in Iran’s ability and the effect of our strategy will be seen soon.
