Current quote turns higher

As of 08:47 UTC, CoinGecko showed XRP at $1.55, up 0.86% over 24 hours. The token has recovered above $1.50 after the sharp rejection and slump reported earlier in the week.

The current move is smaller than the 6.6% daily gain described in CryptoPotato’s newer report, published at 10:09 UTC on September 25, but the direction remains positive at the current quote.

Newer CryptoPotato report

CryptoPotato reported that XRP had rebounded from the key $1.50 level after being rejected at $1.65 and falling below $1.50 within 24 hours. The report described XRP as one of the strongest large-cap altcoins at that time.

  • XRP: $1.55, up 0.86%, as of 08:47 UTC
  • CryptoPotato report: Published September 25 at 10:09 UTC
  • Source-reported move: About 6.6% higher at the report’s publication
  • Historical rejection: $1.65, followed by a move below $1.50

ETF flows and positioning

The September 25 report said spot Ripple ETFs attracted $20.02 million on Tuesday, $18.04 million on Wednesday and $14.89 million on Thursday. CryptoPotato said cumulative net inflows had reached more than $1.76 billion at the time of publication.

The report also cited whale purchases of more than 1.5 billion tokens in 96 hours and a rise in short liquidations as possible contributors to the rebound. Those explanations were presented as possibilities, not confirmed single causes.

CryptoPotato also described a possible short squeeze after short liquidations rose more than 45% on its cited four-hour chart, followed by a reported 16.11% swing in long liquidations. Those are source-reported derivatives observations from September 25, not current CoinGecko measurements.

The report also said BTC was up 1.6% and ETH was up less than 2.5% at its publication, placing XRP’s rebound inside a broader market recovery.

What changed

The earlier $1.60 rejection article is now historical context rather than the latest market report. XRP’s current $1.55 quote keeps the token above the reported support area, while the next test is whether buyers can sustain the rebound instead of producing another volatile reversal.
